We believe that all injuries and occupational illnesses, as well as safety and environmental incidents, are preventable. We are committed to a goal of zero for all of them. Through leadership at all levels, Blackeagle creates a company culture that promotes and sustains health and safety as a core value. We believe safety is a shared responsibility among our team of management and employees. Management accepts responsibility for providing a safe working environment and employees are expected to take responsibility for performing work in accordance with safe standards and practices.

How We Achieve Our Commitment to Safety

We Own It.

We hold ourselves accountable and take responsibility for our actions. If we see an unsafe act or condition, we use our Stop Work authority and report it using our Good Catch program.

Tailgate Meetings.

We conduct morning tailgate meetings to review daily work scope and document jobsite hazards.
Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Permits, Safety Audits. We utilize safety tools and permits to identify workplace hazards and control measures.

Education and Training.

We train our employees in accordance with company policies/procedures, federal/state laws, and customer requirements.

Investigation and Reporting.

We investigate, perform root cause analysis, follow through on action items, and report all near misses/incidents.
